Priority on the roundabout
Almost all roundabouts in the Netherlands have yield triangles. This means that traffic on the roundabout has priority. Watch out for cyclists: inside built-up areas they often do have priority if they stay on the roundabout, outside built-up areas they often do not.
Indicating when entering
When approaching the roundabout, you may indicate your direction if you are turning right immediately (first exit). Are you going three-quarters around (turning left)? Then you may blink left for clarification, although this is not legally required.
Indicating when exiting
When exiting the roundabout, indicating to the right is legally required! Do this right before the exit you want to take, so that waiting traffic knows they can enter the roundabout.
