What does ADAS mean?

It stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Think of Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Monitoring. For the exam, you need to know what the systems do, but also what their limitations are (they do not replace the driver!).

A typical exam question is how driver assistance systems react to snow or heavy rain. Answer: the cameras and sensors can get dirty, causing the system to turn off. You always remain responsible.
