Preparing for the 50-Question Theory Exam: A Roadmap

Step 1: Purchase up-to-date study material

As we have said before: only use material from 2025 or 2026. Otherwise, you will learn outdated rules for 65 questions, while being tested on the new 50-question format.

Step 2: Practice reading comprehension

The theory questions have not become more difficult, but they require more meticulous reading. Train yourself on signal words such as 'always', 'never', 'stop', and 'park'.

Step 3: Take practice exams

Take at least 10 to 15 practice exams via TheorieTime. This way, you get used to answering the 50 questions within the set time limit, and you won't be caught off guard.
